| 103 miles- This very challenging ride takes you past the now closed Homestake's McLaughlin mine (once the most productive gold mine in California and the world's largest open pit gold mine), within feet of Yolo County, into Napa County and past Lake Berryessa. You will have plenty of exercise on this ride back through Calistoga and over Mount St. Helena at 2,250 feet. Once you crest the summit it is mostly downhill for the remainder of the ride into Lower Lake. | ||||
