Lakeport Yacht Club Spring Regatta 2008, Lakeport
A weekend of sailing, including three sailboat races on Saturday and two on Sunday. Friday night begins with a welcome dinner of spaghetti at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $8 per person. Races begin at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Following the races Saturday night, there will be a tri-tip dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost for tri-tip dinner is $12 per person. Both dinners served by the Lakeport Yacht Club. An awards banquet will be held Sunday afternoon following the races. Registration is $25 per entry. The 17th annual car show, includes food, entertainment, vendors, music, and awards. Held this year in conjunction with Wood and Glory X, attendees may enjoy viewing classic cars as well as wooden boats from the 1930s through the 1960s. Participants may pre-register Friday afternoon from 3 to 7 p.m. and enjoy music provided by the L.C Diamonds Band.
