Lakeport

Lakeport is located approximately 5 miles north of Kelseyville. From downtown Kelseyville, take Main Street north through town to the stop sign at Merritt Road, make a left onto Merritt Road and then a right onto Highway 29. Take Highway 29 north to the Lakeport Boulevard exit, make a right onto Lakeport Boulevard. At the stop sign, make a left onto Main Street and head into downtown Lakeport, one of two cities in Lake County and home to the county seat.

One of few drive-ins in operation today, Lakeport Auto Movies is open all summer, always offering double-feature specials for all ages. Moviegoers without audio need not worry; rentals are available for a mere quarter at the concession stand, along with all sorts of treats. It’s a fun time and excellent deal for watching the latest films on an enormous screen under the star-filled sky. Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; May through October.
