Clearlake and Environs

Clearlake is Lake County’s most populated area and one of its two incorporated cities. Its three lakefront parks are filled with locals and out-of-towners in the spring and summer. Clearlake’s famous annual International Worm Races is held in conjunction with its Independence Day festivities, which move with the parade from Redbud to Austin Park.

The Clear Lake Campus of Yuba College is located in the city, as well as large shopping areas, lakeside campgrounds and resorts, numerous motels and hotels – including the El Grande Inn of the Best Western chain – and several restaurants covering a range of cuisines.

Clearlake Park to the northwest features the popular lakeside Honeymoon Cove Resort.
